FAQ

What is included in the bespoke design fee?

The design fee (£35) includes a digital bespoke sample & edits to that design. If you are requiring matching items, such as a table plan, welcome sign etc then the fee covers those too, as long as the design is the same. If you change your design/ideas completely once an initial design has been done then a new design fee will be required.

Are envelopes included?

Yes, plain white diamond flap, gummed envelopes are included. If you want a luxury finish or coloured ones then a small fee will be added, the price will depend on what you want so please ask.

Do you offer card options?

I currently only offer 350gsm silk coated card as this has been tried & tested to produce a great image & fantastic quality. If there are any other finishes you have in mind please ask & I will try to accommodate your request.

Do you do physical, posted samples?

Yes I have 2 options for samples:

* A generic sample which shows you the card & quality - £2 plus £1 postage

* A custom sample which will be in your design with your details on - you can request this after you have approved your final proof & before printing.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

You may not need to, this will depend on whether you are wanting your order printed straight after approval or not, I am happy to discuss this with you at the time of final proof approval.

What if I want my bespoke order items to have different designs? Do I need to pay £35 for each design?

No, you would pay £35 for the 1st design & then I would be happy to discuss options with you depending on what you need. I always endeavor to stick to the best budget & your needs.

When should I send my save the dates & invites?

As a guideline, save the dates normally go out about 9-12 months before the wedding, invites are normally 6-9 months before. This is a rough guide though & you can send them out whenever you want. There are lots of factors to think about when deciding, such as whether there's any major holiday seasons, will people need plenty of notice to book time off, are there lots of people having to travel long distances, any major sporting events etc... From a design perspective, I advise to start the process as soon as you can to allow plenty of time.

How long do you need to do my on the day stationery?

I get asked this a lot! It needs to be close enough to the wedding that you've finalised your guest list & figured out where they are sitting but also far enough away that there's plenty of time to get it designed & printed. Typically I advise about 4 weeks out from your wedding date you should be thinking about finalising your table plan & getting it printed, although the sooner the better. The design of the items can be done anytime though, so get your order in early, you can approve the design & then add in names at the last minute.
